I have been burning CD's for about 12 years now, and these Taiyo Yuden CD-R's have proven to be the highest quality CD-R's I have ever used with VERY VERY few "coasters". They made the world's first CD-R in 1988, and are the only company in Japan that still manufactures CD-Rs. Their other "Value Line" CD-R's (same CD but just won't burn at the same max speed) are still better than other brands, but just for a few dollars more these "Premium" ones are their top of the line, (passing all of their strict quality standards). BTW, the new "JVC" logo is just a joint marketing venture and these are still 100% "made in Japan" Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs (says both on the shrink wrap). These look sharp with a white printable front and a clear hub area. Buy these and you'll never buy another brand ever again.
