Nice printing, but poor burns, 9.2.2010

Prints on the glossy surface look great, and are indistinguishable from Taiyo Yuden's WaterShield DVDs. However, the similarities stop there. While the TYs burn, play, and test well, the Verbatims only burn well, stuttering and freezing on playback, and failing quality tests in PlexTools. I rarely have issues with retail stacks of Verbatims, but these were shockingly bad. I may try contacting Verbatim directly to exchange them for a different batch, but my future purchases will be limited to Taiyo Yuden.
